the maker behind Hie Craft. Hie Craft was born from a love of colour and simplicity, the joy of giving, and the need to cultivate positive qualities. After a challenging period of illness, I needed calm and intentional work that helped me create with purpose. What started as a way to heal, became a passion: creating earrings that told a story and represents individual journeys.

Red. Bold, vibrant and full of personality. It’s the most used colour in my collection, followed closely by green, showing everyone connects with colour uniquely.
Besides making jewellery, i love baking, cooking and reading. My best design ideas have come to me while im cooking. When i need to unwind, you’ll usually find me with a mystery novel in hand.
My husband bought me a specialised desk but you’ll likely find me spread out on our sofa instead. I often have my headphones on, listening to music while i create. My husband works a permanent backshift so I keep the same schedule. That means Im often awake into the small hours of the morning while catching up on his day and showing him my designs, as we spend time together.
Handmade anything…..handpainted cups, handcrafted jewellery, cards, sculptures, paintings, handstitched bags…..If anyone has poured creativity and skill into making something, im drawn to it.
I remember dragging my poor husband round a little handmade boutique on our honeymoon, for an hour and a half, stopping to admire absolutely everything in that shop. I have a real appreciation for intricate craftsmanship and creativity in all its forms.
